I wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you and your team at AJ Adkinson have done for us.
Yesterday was a beautiful day- it was a truly wonderful way to remember my Dad, Rex.
From the moment that we made the call on the 8th of December, right to our final goodbye this morning, we have been treated with care, compassion and respect. Everything ran perfectly like clockwork – the gentlemen and their vehicles were immaculate; the flowers were stunningly beautiful; and the order of service spot on.
We cannot speak highly enough of how you all made such a devastating loss so much more manageable, and enabled us to celebrate Rex yesterday in a way whereby we were at the centre of the arrangements, but everything happened without us actually having to think of anything.
I do not wish to single any one individual out, simply because everyone who we came into contact with were a credit to your business, it’s name and reputation – right down to the detailed care and consideration shown when we came to see Rex in the chapel of rest. And we do not forget those behind the scenes who we will have never in fact met.
However, I have to reserve our extra special thanks to your colleagues who so sensitively took Rex from his home the night he died; to you, for your constant attention and help; and to James for taking control, wearing his white Yorkshire Rose, and simply being so well briefed in everything that took place yesterday and today.
We also can’t thank you enough for the extra special moment we had this morning. James was simply magnificent – his care and compassion for my mum was wonderful – and that additional brief goodbye was the perfect final moment.
Once again, I cannot express just how grateful we are, nor how perfectly the last few days have unfolded – all thanks to you.
